THE ROLE
This is a strategic leadership role overseeing electrical systems and infrastructure across multiple sites in our northern operations. You are responsible for supporting the site electrical teams ensuring the safe reliable and efficient operation of electrical equipment and systems including lighting ventilation power distribution and control systems.
- Lead electrical maintenance across underground and surface operations prioritising safety reliability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory corporate and site electrical standards and legislation.
- Oversee OHSE performance reporting systems implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical electrical leadership and support to underground mining and processing teams.
- Manage contractor performance electrical projects and 11kV distribution installations.
- Drive equipment reliability through fault analysis performance improvement and risk management plans.
- Contribute to budgeting cost control forecasting and optimisation of electrical asset management.
- Maintain and improve CMMS (Pronto) data asset registers schedules and inventory levels.
- Promote a strong safety culture leading incident reporting investigations and emergency preparedness.
- Develop and mentor teams ensuring workforce capability training and high performance across sites.
WHAT DO I NEED
- Current Manual C Class drivers licence National Police Clearance and willingness to travel between sites.
- WA Electrical Licence with High Voltage switching experience (essential).
- Underground & Surface Electrical Mining experience with strong knowledge of processing and mining systems.
- Experience with Pronto or similar CMMS including shutdown planning and asset management.
- Strong safety focus with demonstrated ability to build and sustain a proactive safety culture.
- In-house Electrical Nominee qualification and solid understanding of relevant legislation and standards.
- Proven leadership capability in coaching mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to manage budgets costs and forecasts effectively at site level.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and implement practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of the business.
