The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Electrical EEM Superintendent to join our Maintenance Leadership Team at a Thiess site in the Bowen Basin.
In this critical statutory position you will fulfil the responsibilities of Electrical Engineering Manager (EEM) under Queensland coal mining legislation providing technical leadership governance and assurance across all electrical engineering activities onsite.
You will be responsible for the development implementation and continuous improvement of the Electrical Engineering Management System (EEMS) ensuring all electrical assets infrastructure and systems are managed safely efficiently and in full compliance with legislative and site requirements.

As the Electrical EEM Superintendent you will bring:
- Electrical Trade qualification with Queensland Electrical Licence
- Qualifications and experience to meet statutory EEM requirements in QLD coal mining
- Extensive experience in mining electrical maintenance and engineering environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering governance risk management and compliance
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing site-based teams
- Proven ability to influence engage stakeholders and lead high-performing teams
- Experience with maintenance systems (e.g. JDE) and financial/budget management
An Electrical Engineering degree will be highly regarded.
