About the Opportunity
Play a key role in supporting the delivery of new communities across one of Victorias fastest-growing municipalities. Working closely with Growth Area and Statutory Planners youll contribute to major subdivision projects Precinct Structure Plan implementation and development outcomes that help shape the future of our region. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment managing complex administrative processes and being part of a collaborative team making a real impact.
You will make an impact by
- Processing subdivision certification applications and issuing Statements of Compliance.
- Allocating street names and numbering in accordance with Council policies and relevant standards.
- Providing accurate advice and responding to enquiries from developers consultants stakeholders and the community.
- Maintaining subdivision records and managing application processes through SPEAR and other Council systems.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to the efficient delivery of subdivision and planning services.
What you will bring
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of subdivision processes planning legislation and statutory planning principles or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build effective working relationships within a small team and across the organisation.
- Experience using SPEAR or similar planning and records management systems together with a current Victorian Driver Licence.
