About the role:

We are currently looking for a Sub-Supervisor (Junior Supervisor or Junior Foreman equivalent) to join our team in Canberra and support the delivery of a long-term project.

In this role you will work closely with our team of Senior Supervisors and Site Managers and help ensure that site operations run smoothly safely and on schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating daily site activities and subcontractor management.

  • Monitoring compliance with safety environmental and quality standards.

  • Supporting the implementation of project plans schedules and site documentation.

  • Conducting site inspections and report progress to senior supervisors.

  • Helping resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain workflow.

  • Maintaining accurate records of site activities and materials.

To be successful you will need:

  • To be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.

  • To hold or be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance.

  • Trade qualification or Certificate III/IV in Building and Construction or equivalent qualification.

  • 12 years of experience in a construction or site-based role (internships or trade background considered).

  • Basic understanding of WHS regulations and site safety practices.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with construction management software (desirable).
