Warehouse & Logistics Manager Alice Springs
Asia Pacific Aircraft Storage (APAS) is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to take full ownership of the warehousing and logistics function at our Alice Springs facility. This is a hands-on leadership role: youll be accountable for the performance of the operation and for building leading and developing the team that runs it.
Were after someone who leads from the front sets the standard holds the team to it and takes responsibility for outcomes rather than simply administering processes.
What youll own
- Lead develop and hold accountable the team responsible for day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations.
- Set clear expectations and standards and manage team performance to meet them.
- Take end-to-end accountability for warehousing activities inventory control storage shipping and receiving.
- Own logistics planning including routing transportation and delivery scheduling.
- Drive continuous improvement: track performance metrics identify what isnt working and implement the changes to fix it.
- Manage relationships with suppliers carriers and other stakeholders to keep the supply chain running smoothly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
About you
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team not just coordinating tasks but genuinely owning a function and the people in it.
- A track record of holding others to account and lifting team performance.
- Minimum 5 years experience in warehousing and logistics management.
- Strong organisational and communication skills and the confidence to make decisions and stand behind them.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Proven problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Sound working knowledge of warehouse management software and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Current forklift licence or the ability to obtain one.
- Salary: $120000 $% superannuation overtime commensurate with experience and skills.

Hours
- Monday to Friday(summer) /(winter).
- Flexibility to support overtime on evenings and weekends in line with operational requirements and flight schedules under the Aerotech Aviation Fatigue Management Policy.
Required Skills:
Full open drivers licence. Full working rights in Australia and currently located within the country (this role is not open to applicants requiring visa sponsorship or relocating from overseas).
