Melbourne City Subaru is looking for a motivated Storeperson to join our team in Port Melbourne VIC. In this hands-on role you will support our Parts and Service teams by managing stock maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring the efficient flow of parts throughout the dealership. This is a full-time position in a busy automotive environment where you will play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly and contributing to a high standard of service for our customers.

What Youll Do

  • Support the Trivett Parts team across retail and wholesale operations ensuring smooth daily workflows
  • Handle stock activities including receiving checking binning and maintaining accurate inventory
  • Liaise with OEM partners to resolve issues quickly and minimise operational disruptions
  • Assist with inventory control and stocktakes helping maintain required stock levels and meet brand targets
  • Pre-pick parts to support technicians and keep service jobs running efficiently
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements that drive efficiency and customer experience
  • Maintain a clean safe and organised workspace while staying flexible to support the broader team

About You

  • Experience in a retail automotive warehouse or service centre environment would be highly regarded
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with the ability to stay organised and manage competing priorities
  • Solid computer skills with confidence using systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Technically minded with an interest in parts interpretation or a willingness to learn and develop in this space
  • Exposure to the automotive industry particularly Aftersales or workshop environments is advantageous
  • A strong work ethic and hands-on attitude with pride in delivering high-quality work
  • A reliable and collaborative team player who contributes to a positive team culture
  • Eager to learn and grow with a genuine interest in building a long-term career in the automotive industry
