Synergie has teamed up with a well known steel plating manufacturer in smithfield whois seeking a reliable and hardworking Store person Forklift Operator to join our busy production team in Smithfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established Australian steel processing business offering stable employment and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to safely move steel products and materials throughout the workshop.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
• Assist with picking packing and preparing customer orders.
• Perform general labouring duties as required.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with the handling and processing of steel products.
• Maintain a clean organised and safe work environment.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Support production and warehouse teams to meet daily operational targets.

About You

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) essential.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse manufacturing or steel industry environment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic with a positive can-do attitude.
• Reliable punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is highly regarded but not essential.
