Storeperson

Our client is a well-established electrical contractor delivering construction and service projects across Brisbane. Known for their strong safety culture and high-quality project delivery they work with a diverse client base including Tier 2 builders facilities managers and public and private sector clients.

Due to growth the company are now seeking an experienced Storeperson to join their warehouse team based on Brisbanes Southside.

The Position

This role involves general warehouse duties and driving to various sites to complete deliveries as part of the daily responsibilities. Key duties will include:

• Receive unload and check incoming deliveries.
• Pick pack and prepare materials for upcoming projects.
• Deliver electrical materials equipment and tools to project sites.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes.
• Maintain an organised clean and safe warehouse.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload deliveries.
• Liaise with project managers supervisors and electricians regarding material requirements.
• Coordinate returns warranty items and supplier collections.
• Monitor stock levels and advise when replenishment is required.
• Maintain company vehicles and warehouse equipment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and site support as required.
• Ensure all WHS procedures are followed at all times.

What are we looking for

You will be well presented have excellent customer service skills and a team player. To be successful in this role youll have:

• Current Forklift Licence (essential)
• Current Manual Drivers Licence (essential)
• Scissor lift ticket (highly regarded)
• Previous experience working within a warehouse logistics or trade environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work independently
• Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling tasks
• Experience within the electrical or construction industry (highly regarded)
