Were looking for an energetic full-time Store Managerto join our Taubmans store in Darwin. The successful candidate will be responsible for retail fundamentals including outstanding customer service reporting promotions and merchandising standards. You will help achieve sales and profitability growth whilst while maintaining a productive and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate exceptional customer service accountability ownership teamwork promoting engagement and offering solutions
Maintain the teams knowledge skills and behaviours to ensure a successful store culture
Tinting & mixing paint palletising paint drums arranging orders for delivery & colour matching
Deliveries using the Store vehicle
Inventory ordering stock replenishment
Assisting to grow store revenue and targets and hitting KPIs
Maximising the sales approach to focus on the features and benefits of PPG products
Assisting to implement marketing and promotional plans to maximise sales potential
Maintain and continue development of customer relationships. Offering advice/solutions to customers both trade and retail
Operate point of sale system and prepare sales invoices following company policy
Assist to achieve and adhere to store standards including EHS training & housekeeping
Uphold and maintain the highest levels of safety for all team customers & contractors
About you
Motivated with the ability to demonstrate initiative
Experience in retail sales with a strong customer focus strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Visual Merchandising experience preferred not essential
An eye for detail with a focus on safety and driving sales results
Comfortable with technology - computer literacy is a must
Available Monday Friday between 6.30am 4.30pm for a 38 hour work week
Requirements
Previous Assistant Store Manager or Experienced Sales Assistant
A valid drivers license
Permanent Working Rights
Paint industry experience is not mandatory training can be provided
