Whats the role
Were looking for a Storage Infra Engineering Lead Specialist to help support and improve the storage platforms that underpin critical services across Westpac. Youll work across technologies including Dell NetApp and Pure Storage helping ensure our storage environments remain reliable secure and high-performing. This is a hands-on role where youll support day-to-day operations troubleshoot complex issues contribute to platform improvements and work closely with infrastructure teams across the bank. This is a permanent hybrid role based in Sydney and includes participation in an on-call support roster.
What do I need
Experience supporting enterprise storage platforms such as Dell NetApp or Pure Storage
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
Understanding of storage technologies including SAN NAS replication or disaster recovery concepts
Experience working in operational environments with change incident and risk management practices
Exposure to automation or scripting tools such as Ansible PowerShell or REST APIs would be highly regarded
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across infrastructure application and vendor teams
