Stock Controller
Job Summary
We are hiring a full-time Stock Controller at The Alfred Hospital. This is a Monday to Friday role where your weekends are yours!
This will be paid in line with the Fast-Food Industry Award (FFIA) Level 3 - this is a Team Leader role.
This is a super exciting niche role that would suit somebody who wants to gain hands on experience across our sites at the Alfred Hospital. Youll get unique exposure across the business from back of house front of house and office insights. No week is the same!!
As a Team Leader youll manage the stock handling at our Alfred site. This could include:
- Ensuring the stock reaches the cafes front in a timely manner.
- Overall management of stock - Receive check and process incoming stock and deliveries.
- Ability to work independently whilst also being the point of contact with each cafe site supervisors and working with teams in the Support Office.
- Ensure the stockroom is compliant and safety is a priority in your day to day.
When covering breaks and absence in store duties may include:
- Preparing and serving food and beverages to café standards and in line with food safety guidelines.
- Operating the POS system and handling transactions accurately.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the café.
- Handling both cash and card payments efficiently.
This role is Monday to Friday 38 hours a week your weekends are yours!
What our Stores would love to see:
- Previous experience as a Team Leader with stock/inventory.
- Previous experience managing inventory (in a large F&B store).
- Please note this role largely involves manual handling of stock pushing trolleys lifting and carrying.
- Experience processing Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods receiving (GR) is desirable.
- Someone who likes being hands on and getting the job done.
- A passion for customers having an exceptional experience in store.
- Motivated to achieve fantastic results and standards.
- Adaptable to meet company requirements and goals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in food handling would be ideal.
