About the Opportunity:
Are you an outstanding Sterilising Technician In this role you be responsible for driving quality-controlled systems within the CSSD rewarding opportunity will see you join the St Vincents Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as a Sterilising Technician within the CSSD will bring your passion to the role where you will work with a team to support our Perioperative role will be pivotal in the cleaning and sterilisation of instruments.

St Vincents Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical surgical maternity paediatric emergency cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology radiology and pharmacy are also available on site and our emergency department is open 24 hours seven days a week.

Things that work for us:
Hold a Cert III in Sterilising technology or equivalentor willingness to obtain; education to obtain CERT III may be considered
Ideally experience in a CSSD or healthcare facilityas a CSSD Technician EN or AIN
Ability to work flexible hours and weekend on call work
Ability to maintain a working knowledge of relevant policies/procedures and use these in work practices.
Demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices.
