Community Housing Limited is seeking a State Operations Manager to provide operational oversight of customer services and programs across the state. This is a senior leadership opportunity to guide service delivery across property management tenancy programs homelessness services accommodation support and funded programs or contracts.

What youll do
In this role youll lead operational staff and oversee the delivery of customer services and programs across the state. Working closely with the State management team youll ensure services meet contractual legislative reporting and organisational requirements while supporting staff capability customer outcomes and continuous improvement. Youll also play an important role in new developments and mobilisation providing operational input to ensure services are ready functional accessible and aligned with customer and organisational needs.
Youll make an impact by:
Leading operational teams to deliver quality customer-focused services across the state.
Managing programs to meet compliance contractual reporting and CHL requirements.
Implementing state operational plans and contributing to planning resourcing and budget management.
Providing operational input into new developments including target cohorts rent modelling apartment and interior design safety accessibility functionality and operational readiness.
Working across internal teams to improve service delivery support growth and ensure operational requirements are considered in planning and decision-making.
Supporting staff performance supervision development wellbeing and HR records management.
Ensuring timely and accurate data collection performance monitoring and reporting.
Building and maintaining effective partnerships with government community and sector stakeholders.
Acting as an escalation point for complex operational and customer service matters.
What Youll Bring
Qualifications in social housing management or a related discipline.
Minimum three years experience in property and tenancy management with an understanding of community and public housing sectors and relevant legislation.
Demonstrated staff management and leadership experience including supporting successful teams working across multiple locations or remotely.
Experience managing compliance with government contracts and delivering required outcomes.
Awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of people experiencing housing crisis homelessness disability or complex support needs.
A strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities including social and historical context and a commitment to culturally safe practice.
Strong communication stakeholder engagement problem-solving planning and reporting skills.
A current Driver Licence.
