Staff Data Engineer

• Design develop and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake as the enterprise data platform.
• Build and manage robust data transformation frameworks using dbt.
• Develop and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
• Create and maintain logical and physical data models supporting analytics and reporting requirements.
• Implement best practices for data quality testing governance and documentation.
• Optimize Snowflake performance cost management and query tuning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders data analysts architects and engineers to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Develop reusable dbt models macros tests and documentation.
• Support data migration integration and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to security compliance and data governance standards.

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Extensive experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) including model development testing snapshots and incremental loading.
• Strong expertise in Data Modelling (Dimensional Star Schema Snowflake Schema Data Vault).
• Experience building enterprise-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Advanced SQL development and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD processes.
