Sr. Streaming Specialist Solutions Architect, WWSO Data & AI GTM

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA). As part of the AWS sales organization SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable flexible and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customers most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to- market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO youll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. We are looking for a Streaming Analytics Specialist Solutions Architect to join our AWS this role you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) working directly with AWS customers to design cloud-based analytics solutions using Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK) Amazon Kinesis Data Streams Amazon Data Firehose Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink and the broader analytics ecosystemincluding Amazon Redshift Spark Streaming on Amazon EMR Data Lake architecture Iceberg tables S3 tables Athena and SageMaker Lakehouse. This is a deeply technical customer-facing role for someone who thrives on solving complex data challenges and enabling organizations to become truly data-driven.

You will help customers build the data foundation required to maximize the value of their AI projects and investments. As a trusted customer advocate you will help organizations understand advanced cloud-based solutions and migrate existing analytics workloads to the cloud. You will also have the opportunity to shape and execute a strategy to build mind share and drive broad adoption of AWS across organizations ranging from startups to large enterprise customers. Success in this role requires the ability to link technology with measurable business value.


Key job responsibilities
- Provide deep technical expertise for customer engagements involving AWS streaming and analytics services including Amazon MSK and Amazon Kinesis. Design and deploy scalable high-performance analytics solutions.

- Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.

- Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers largest and most critical business challenges.

- Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs whitepapers reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit AWS re: Invent etc.

- Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts solutions and initiatives.

- Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.

- Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate new AWS solutions into customer architectures.


- 8 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience
- 3 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- Experience with presentations and speaking with executives IT management and developers
- Hands-on experience designing streaming analytics architectures using Kinesis Kafka Flink or similar for real-time dashboards alerting and event-driven data pipelines
