Speech Pathologist – Paediatric | Ongoing Temporary Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join a supportive and collaborative team providing services to children and adolescents aged 4 to 17 years.

This ongoing temporary opportunity is ideal for a Speech Pathologist seeking reduced working hours greater flexibility or a smooth transition back into the workforce after a career break. • Conduct speech language and communication assessments for children and adolescents aged 417 years.
  
• Develop and implement personalised therapy plans.
  
• Deliver therapy across home school clinic and community settings.
  
• Support speech language social communication and functional communication goals.
  
• Collaborate with families carers educators and allied health professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.
  
• Provide guidance and coaching to parents carers and support networks.
  
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.
  

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology.
  
• Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligibility).
  
• Experience working with paediatric clients particularly neurodiverse children (preferred).
  
• Knowledge of neuroaffirming strengths-based practice.
  
• Experience or interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and social communication.
  
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  
• A current Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one).
  
• A current Australian Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
