NWRH is now seeking a full-time Speech Pathologists to join our teamin Mount Isa. We have positions for Graduate and Experienced clinicians.

Flexible working hours and Fly in Fly Out (FIFO) positions will be considered for the right applicant.

As part of a supportive diverse and multidisciplinary team youll be providingspeech pathology services inregional North Qld. Working in collaboration witha range ofspecialists to provide holistic care and long-term treatment and prevention strategies.

You will work with a diverse range of clients live and work in parts of Australia that many never get to see - set your own schedule and help the community members thrive through your care and expertise.

Helping people who may not otherwise have access to healthcare and support youll see the real difference your work makes in rural communitiesas you enable clients to live and receive high-quality care locally.

About the Role

  • Administer standardised and informal assessments within a multidisciplinary team to determine the nature and extent of their speech language learning and communication disorders or swallowing difficulties.
  • Provide treatment and management including ongoing therapy of speech language learning and communication disorders that may be developmental part of a disability acquired as a result of injury or disease; and
  • Deliver family centred early childhood intervention strategies

About You

You will need to be registered or eligible to obtain Speech Pathology Australia membership and have a passion for providing quality healthcare to rural communities.

In addition you will need or be eligible to obtain:

  • A QLD blue card & NDIS worker screening
  • A current unrestricted C class Australian Drivers Licence; and
  • The right to live and work in Australia
