The Opportunity
As a Specialist or Senior Specialist in Emergency Medicine you will:

• Provide specialist emergency care within one of Queenslands busiest tertiary Emergency Departments.
• Manage patients across the Emergency Department and Emergency Short Stay Unit.
• Support regional and rural hospitals.
• Coordinate retrievals and transfers from remote and Indigenous communities.
• Participate in education supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff and ACEM trainees.
• Contribute to research quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
• Play an active role in service development within a progressive tertiary health service.

Hospital
The Emergency Department provides exposure to an exceptionally broad case mix including:

• Major trauma
