Are you seeking a role with a values-driven for purpose organisation where you can support young people in our community Apply your skills managing social housing operations and ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of BYSs 24/7 houses.

This position is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of three 3 24/7 housing services for young people aged 15- 18 years and two 2 Advantage Thinking Model houses. The position manages the high-quality medium length supported temporary accommodation for young people risk mitigation and oversight for the operations of these specialist programs.

Youll be a great candidate for this role if you have:

• A tertiary qualification in Social Work Human Services Psychology Social Sciences or a related discipline or significant demonstrated experience working in a comparable human services or community-based role.
• Demonstrated experience working with young people and young families with a strong understanding of the complex issues contributing to homelessness or risk of homelessness.
• Proven experience managing social housing operations including sound knowledge of relevant legislation regulatory requirements standards guidelines and service delivery frameworks.
• Highly developed problem-solving and risk management skills with demonstrated ability to apply sound judgement and initiative in a direct service delivery environment.
• Demonstrated capability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams fostering a positive inclusive culture focused on collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication organisational and planning skills with the ability to work independently prioritise competing demands advocate effectively and operate without dailysupervision.

Given the work that we do there will be a few non-negotiables. Youll need to be able to have or obtain prior to commencement:

• A Working with Children Suitability Card Blue Card.
• A National Coordinated Criminal History Check Police Check.
• Evidence of vaccination immunity or medical exemption for the following preventable diseases Measles Mumps Rubella Varicella Chicken Pox and Pertussis Whooping Cough.
