Located in the heart of Sydney CBD ibis Styles Sydney Central is home to Mee So - a vibrant contemporary dining destination full of flavour and personality. Were on the lookout for a passionate Sous Chef to bring their own style to our team and inspire our kitchen brigade.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to step into a leadership role and further develop their skills alongside an experienced Executive Chef.

As Sous Chef youll be at the heart of the kitchen leading by example supporting and developing the team and playing a key role in delivering exceptional food and service. Youll bring energy fresh ideas and a hands-on approach while helping to build a positive team culture. Youll also ensure every service reflects our brand standards and the highest food safety and hygiene practices.

Qualifications :

Bring your own style to the table along with:

• Previous experience in kitchen operations within a hotel restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Relevant trade qualifications with a passion for leading by example and building positive high-performing teams.
• A commitment to maintaining consistently high culinary presentation brand and food safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work a rotating 38-hour roster including early mornings evenings weekends and public holidays.
• A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or the willingness to obtain one.
• Valid Australian working rights.
