Our client is a Large Government agency who are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team in Canberra ACT.

Role Summary

The SoR Business Analyst will support a major procurement-readiness workstream leading the development validation and management of business capability information integration functional and non-functional requirements for a future Revenue Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead current-state and future-state analysis including business processes business rules customer journeys and operational requirements.
  2. Elicit analyse document and validate comprehensive business functional non-functional integration and information requirements.
  3. Lead the development of a procurement-ready Statement of Requirements and supporting procurement evaluation materials.
  4. Facilitate stakeholder workshops and collaborate with business technical architecture and project teams.
  5. Develop and maintain process models capability models service blueprints use cases user stories and requirements traceability artefacts.
  6. Support digital transformation system enhancement integration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated experience as a SoR Business Analyst on complex ICT digital transformation business systems modernisation or enterprise platform initiatives.
  2. Extensive experience in requirements elicitation process modelling capability analysis and developing large-scale Statements of Requirements.
  3. Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise ICT procurements including SaaS platforms business systems or digital services.
  4. Experience working with complex business rules and requirements in revenue taxation finance compliance or other regulated environments.
  5. Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
  6. Experience in revenue administration taxation rates land tax or similar government regulatory environments will be highly regarded.
  7. Experience with service design customer journey mapping or service blueprinting is desirable.

On offer is an initial contract through to 30 June 2027 with the ACT Government in Canberra with a highly competitive daily rate.
