Solicitor and Senior Associate Banking & Finance – Melbourne

About the role

Our Melbourne Banking & Finance team is busy and growing! We are looking for a Solicitor (2-3 PQE) and an experienced Senior Associate to join our market-leading practice.

Working as part of a high-performing national team you will advise major Australian and international clients across a broad range of financing matters including acquisition finance project and infrastructure finance corporate lending property finance and complex cross-border transactions. The team is known for its involvement in some of Australias most significant and innovative deals working closely with major banks financial institutions private capital investors and corporate borrowers.

You may be working with

Catherine Danne who specialises in project and infrastructure financing project and asset procurement and development and corporate and general financing.

Jeff Clark who specialises in major projects including social economic and digital infrastructure project finance and acquisition and leveraged finance.

Tim Ma specialises in infrastructure projects and assets (including PPPs) across a range of sectors. This includes roads rail regulated utilities energy health and education.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and well-supported team where you will be trusted with meaningful responsibility from day one. Depending on your level you will have the opportunity to run matters work directly with clients lead negotiations manage key workstreams on major transactions and mentor junior lawyers. You will be exposed to sophisticated and varied work while receiving ongoing support and development from recognised leaders in the market.
