Job Title/High Level Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop test and maintain web applications and backend services /C# TypeScript and Python.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of microservices and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with Product Management Quality Assurance UX and other engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups retrospectives and backlog refinement.
• Write clean maintainable and well-tested code following established engineering standards and best practices.
• Investigate and resolve software defects performance issues and production incidents.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates.
• Contribute to application architecture discussions and technical design activities.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and software deployment activities.
• Continuously learn new technologies frameworks and development practices to improve both individual and team capability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.

Scope / Role Dimensions

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Commercial software development experience or equivalent internship/university project experience.
• Experience with object-oriented programming principles.
• Exposure to C# .NET Java Python JavaScript or similar modern programming languages.
• Understanding of web application development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate within a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow as a software engineer.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience and C#.
• Experience with React Angular or another modern frontend framework.
• Exposure to TypeScript and modern JavaScript development.
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-oriented or microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker.
• Understanding of automated testing practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience contributing to personal academic or open-source software projects.
• Interest in healthcare technology and delivering solutions that improve customer outcomes.
