This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role while remaining close to day-to-day return for your skills and commitment you will:Lead a small close-knit team in a supportive and practical environmentPlay a key role in the safe and efficient running of the siteBuild your leadership capability with ongoing support and developmentBe part of a business that is growing and investing for the futureHave the opportunity to work additional hours from time to time in line with operational requirementsWe are an equal opportunity employer and are open to discussing flexibility where responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day site operations including product receival blending storage and dispatch coach and support site employees seasonal workers and contractors to achieve safe and efficient a strong safety culture ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company policies procedures and legislative bulk product handling activities including the operation of mobile plant and equipment such as front-end dispatch operations to ensure customer orders are completed accurately efficiently and on with the Maintenance Coordinator to support equipment reliability preventative maintenance activities and minimise operational hands-on operational support across the site including operating plant and equipment as high standards of housekeeping environmental compliance and site shipping vessel unloading and port-related activities as to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety operational performance and customer service key skills required for this role include:Previous experience in a supervisory or leading hand role within operations logistics or manufacturingStrong safety focus and commitment to safe work practicesPractical hands-on approach with the ability to step in and support the teamGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to plan organise and solve problems in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills and experience using systems (e.g. SAP or D365) desirableCurrent drivers licenceHow to applyClick Apply Now and upload your resume and a short cover to applicants withunrestricted Australian work rights successful candidatewill also complete standard work-ready checks (including drug and alcohol testing).We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
