We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join the team at our waste centre located in Bowral. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a proactive leader with recycling or waste management experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence and sustainable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all personnel are aware of and comply with company WHS policies and procedures.
Liaise with the Site Manager to ensure the plant operates at maximum efficiency and productivity.
Ensure all documentation including checklists daily production reports timesheets work permits and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) are completed accurately and submitted within required timeframes.
Identify plant and equipment maintenance issues and work with the Site Manager to coordinate timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
Ensure plant and equipment operations comply with EPA NSW industry regulations and local council requirements.
Assist with the commissioning of new plant and equipment and support its effective integration into routine operations.
Maintain high standards for site housekeeping to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Monitor and manage production feed rates and product yields to achieve production targets and operational objectives.
About You
Proven experience operating mobile plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
Strong awareness of safe work practices when working around heavy plant and machinery.
Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure fast-paced operational environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated experience leading and supervising teams to achieve operational objectives.
Proven ability to delegate tasks effectively while maintaining productivity quality and safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation.
