We are recruiting a Site Engineer for a major transport infrastructure client supporting the delivery and maintenance of critical road assets across Sydney.
The role offers a mix of site engineering project delivery scheduling and stakeholder coordination within a live TfNSW road environment.

The Site Engineer is responsible for the scheduling activities on projects including producing and updating schedules and providing ongoing scheduling support to assist in the achievement of project objectives.
- Set up multi-level schedules for projects in addition to updating of schedules and reporting progress against baseline.
- Responsible for delivering work within budget
- Manage and control budget associated with relevant scope of work including earned value cost control in accordance with the Work Breakdown Structure and forecasting of revenue and cost to complete for monthly reporting.
- Plan manage and implement the site establishment activities necessary to ensure all site specific and contract requirements are met.
- Manage and achieve the delivery of engineering design aspects of projects through management of design activities until completion and submission of all deliverables on time to budget and to quality standard as agreed with project manager.
- Liaise with Client site and vendors on aspects of the design and documentation work and organise / manage meetings with them as required.
- Ensure technical program quality environmental community industrial safety and commercial obligations are achieved and maintained on site.
- Liaise with Client manage subcontractors and Suppliers on project site issues and organise / manage meetings as required.
- Bachelor of Engineering.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Experience in road asset maintenance road infrastructure or a comparable live network environment.
- Around five years experience in a similar role.
- Civil transport or infrastructure project experience.
- Strong planning and scheduling capability.
- Experience with MS Project or similar software.
- Good commercial awareness and confidence working with clients subcontractors and site teams.
