Signals Analyst 24x7

The National Solutions Division at Leidos has an opening for a Signals Intelligence Analyst at our customer location in Alice Springs Australia. The successful candidate has strong analytical skills and is a problem solver. The candidate will be required to understand collections platform capabilities signal processing dataflows and analytic methodologies.

This position is a 12-hour rotating shift working days nights weekends and holidays aligned with the operations shift schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze signals in digital domains to determine structure parameters content and purpose
• Coordinate and collaborate with teammates customers and external stake holders to ensure timely and accurate signals processing
• Build mission-oriented situational awareness products in response to Intelligence Community requirements
• Use complex software to accomplish tasks to protect national assets in a multi-INT environment
• Disseminate data in the community standard format to the appropriate customers in the timeframe defined by the customer
• Create processing models and scripts to report technical characteristics
• Search for new and unusual signal activity associated with events and forward this information to the designated community entities as necessary
• Perform efficiently under dynamic conditions and navigate continually evolving priorities
• facilitate reliable and consistent mission application in a complex operational environment
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions

• Enrollment into the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
• This position is a two-year assignment with potential for subsequent assignments based on performance and behavior

Basic Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 8 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active and Current TS/SCI with Poly and U.S. Citizenship
• Proven experience and proficiency with one or more signals intelligence disciplines and technical understanding of signal characteristics
• Knowledge or experience performing satellite mission support in a real-time or near-real time operations environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and constructively with leaders across the site
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in multiple types of signals intelligence collectionortechnical work at customer sites
• Experience with specialized IC signals tasking collection exploitation analysis and mapping tools
• Knowledge of mission-specific customer requirements and intelligence oversightpolicies
• Experience at customer location in Australia
