Job Summary

Site Supervisor Shutdowns & Industrial Maintenance

Permanent Full-Time $180K$200K Average Earnings WA-Based

CrewSELECT is proud to be partnering with a leading industrial maintenance contractor specialising in conveyor systems wear protection and materials handling solutions across Australias largest mining operations.

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead shutdown crews across various mine sites throughout Western Australia. This is a unique opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and industrial experience who enjoys the shutdown environment but also values the stability of permanent employment.

Who Were Looking For

You do not need a trade qualification for this role.

We are seeking capable leaders who can manage people drive safety outcomes and deliver shutdown projects successfully. Experience within mining industrial maintenance materials handling construction or shutdown environments will be highly regarded.

To be successful you will have:

  • Previous experience supervising teams in industrial mining shutdown or maintenance environments
  • Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Gas Testing
  • Construction White Card
  • Current Manual Drivers Licence
  • Strong safety leadership and reporting capabilities

About the Role

You will be responsible for supervising crews during shutdown maintenance projects involving the removal and replacement of:

  • Conveyor belt lining systems
  • Screening media and wear components
  • Chutes liners and associated materials handling equipment
  • Conveyor maintenance activities
  • Shutdown project execution and safety compliance

As the direct supervisor for your team you will ensure all work is completed safely efficiently and to client expectations while maintaining strong communication with site stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise shutdown crews across various WA mine sites
  • Coordinate daily work activities and ensure safe work practices
  • Conduct pre-starts toolbox meetings and safety interactions
  • Complete project reporting and shutdown documentation for clients
  • Monitor productivity quality and shutdown deliverables
