Your Role
An opportunity is available for a Shift Workerto join the Meminar Ngangg Gimba (MNG) team in Mildura. This role helps keep the site safe welcoming and well supported for residents families and fellow staff.
As a Shift Worker you will be the key shift supervisor responsible for monitoring the site and supporting the safety and security of residents and staff.
In this role you will
- Monitor the site to help keep residents children and staff safe
- Provide support to women children and families staying at MNG
- Help residents build independence and confidence
- Run age-appropriate children and family activities
- Prepare units for new residents including restocking and reporting maintenance needs
- Receive referrals and complete assessments for crisis accommodation
- Complete general administration duties.
This is a casual position working to a rotating shift roster and is based at our Mildura MNG location.
