Your Opportunity

TheEarly Childhood Approach (ECA)programis a national program supporting children aged 0-9 who have a developmental delay or disability and their families funded through The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Our ECA services support early childhood activities and interventions to improve the independence and social participation of children with a disability or developmental delay aged 09 years. Our services are family-centred delivered in a childs natural setting such as in the home community early childhood education and care and playgroups.

How You Will Contribute

As aService Support Coordinator you will help coordinate the delivery of our ECA Program. You will provide administrative support to our team members including responding to enquiries from families scheduling appointments for families managing the calendars for our teams and completing documentation to streamline service provision. Your role will include reviewing and modifying administrative processes and systems to be responsive to the needs of our team and the families we support. Your keen eye for detail will be a key asset in compiling information to help the program meet its reporting requirements.

  • Provide varied administrative support including coordinating calendars and correspondence and completing documentation for our teams enabling timely and effective service provision.
  • Connect with families via phone and email to respond to enquiries schedule appointments and obtain information to facilitate service engagement.
  • Plan develop and implementadministrative processes that meet the needs of the service and client group in liaison with your broader team and Team Leader.
  • Provide occasional administrative support in community settings (e.g. play groups).
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with sensitive information and vulnerable families.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Certificate IV or Diploma qualified in community services business administration or relevant qualifications or experience.
  • High level of proficiency across the suite of Microsoft Office programs with a particular strength in Excel is essential.
  • Ability to provide outstanding service to our clients in a positive respectful and culturally sensitive way.
  • Excellent time management and organising skills to balance competing demands.
  • The capacity to respond quickly and appropriately to meet the needs of the families and front facing staff.
  • Experience working in similar role for example service coordination senior admin.
  • Knowledge of early childhood and disability will be a distinct advantage.
  • Call-centre experience is advantageous.
