Reporting to the Reporting and Administration Team Manager you will play a key part in coordinating fleet maintenance activities supporting workshop operations and ensuring servicing and repairs are planned and completed efficiently. Working closely with internal teams suppliers and external service providers youll help keep our fleet safe compliant and operating at its best.
What you will be doing:
- Plan and coordinate scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance across the Transport fleet.
- Create and process purchase orders ensuring accuracy and timely receipting of invoices.
- Raise work orders for both internal and external maintenance activities.
- Book and coordinate external repairs including servicing wheel alignments windscreen replacements tarps and other specialist repairs.
- Liaise with external repairers suppliers and service providers to schedule maintenance and monitor job progress.
- Maintain accurate workshop documentation and fleet maintenance records.
- Monitor outstanding work orders and ensure maintenance activities are completed within required timeframes.
- Provide administrative support to the Workshop and Maintenance Team.
- Assist with general administration duties and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in an administration service coordination or maintenance planning role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks in a busy environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive proactive and team-focused attitude.
- Confidence communicating with suppliers contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Sound computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
- Experience working within transport fleet maintenance or workshop environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
Additional Information
Successful applicants will be required to complete aPre-Employment Medical Drug and Alcohol Screening and Police Check.
