About The Company
Our client is a renowned provider of automated mail and print solutions specialising in high-speed mail inserters and finishing systems. With a commitment to supporting customers through mission-critical communications they leverage advanced technology servicing and maintenance solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability for their clients.
About The Opportunity
As a Field Service Engineer you will play a crucial role in the installation maintenance and repair of our industrial mail inserter equipment. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Performing servicing maintenance and repair on inserters
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently during on-site service visits
Travelling to customer locations to complete breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
Supporting paper handling systems and finishing lines to ensure smooth operation
Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and meets customer SLA requirements
Core hours 7:00am 3:00pm with occasional afternoon shift 3:00pm 11:00pm
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum 3 years experience servicing industrial or electromechanical equipment
Experience with finishing lines or similar machinery preferred
Strong problem-solving skills with a reliable and proactive work approach
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team environment
Effective communication skills with confidence in customer-facing situations
Relevant electrical certification and technical trade qualification required
Basic computer skills for diagnostics reporting and service documentation
Field service experience and exposure to high-speed automated machinery preferred
