Nasdaq Trade Surveillance part of Nasdaqs Financial Technology business is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our Feeds team. This role is suited to an experienced trading-technology professional who can engage directly with customers trading venues and market-data vendors understand complex requirements shape effective solutions and coordinate delivery with internal teams.
You will combine business analysis technical problem-solving and project delivery. You will take ownership of work from initial discovery and issue analysis through requirements definition solution design implementation and production deployment.

External stakeholder engagement: Work directly with customers trading venues and market-data vendors to understand business needs technical specifications operational constraints and delivery expectations.
Requirements analysis: Elicit analyse document and validate clear business functional and technical requirements for trading-data and connectivity initiatives.
Solution design: Apply trading-domain and technical expertise to assess options define practical solutions and ensure requirements are traceable through design build and test.
End-to-end delivery: Work with internal teams to develop and coordinate delivery plans manage dependencies risks issues and decisions and drive assigned initiatives through implementation and production release.
Technical investigation: Analyse and troubleshoot trading-data protocol and connectivity issues identify root causes and work with engineering teams to implement sustainable resolutions.
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with business analysts developers quality assurance operations and support teams to deliver solutions that are technically sound and operationally ready.
Stakeholder communication: Translate complex technical information into clear updates recommendations and decisions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Production readiness: Support testing release planning implementation and post-deployment validation to confirm that delivered outcomes meet agreed requirements.
Industry experience: At least 6 years of commercial experience in trading technology including at least four years designing or implementing pre-trade or post-trade data solutions.
Trading technology knowledge: Strong understanding of securities trading workflows brokerage environments market data and trading protocols such as FIX OMnet ITCH or OUCH.
Business analysis: Demonstrated ability to engage external stakeholders clarify complex requirements produce high-quality specifications and convert business needs into implementable technical outcomes.
Project delivery: Proven ability to take ownership from discovery and solution definition through build testing release and production deployment while managing multiple deliverables.
Technical capability: Hands-on experience with application-component implementation and commercial experience working in Linux or Unix environments including scripting.
Version control: Proficiency with Git.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication stakeholder management and facilitation skills including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Organisation: Strong planning prioritisation and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain delivery momentum.
Global collaboration: Experience working effectively across globally distributed teams and time zones.
Knowledge of fixed-income and over-the-counter markets.
Experience in trade-surveillance regulatory technology or market-data platforms.
Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and tools used to manage requirements delivery and defects.
