Senior Technical Officer, Receipts Compliance

As a Senior Technical Officer Receipts Compliance you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness compliance of engines and APUs returning from external maintenance and repair organisations. Working within Engine Fleet Management youll review technical documentation verify compliance against Qantas maintenance requirements maintain configuration control and ensure the accurate transfer of information into Qantas maintenance management systems.  

This role will see you working closely with engineering planning and external maintenance providers to support fleet availability while maintaining strict regulatory and operational compliance standards.  

Youll be responsible for: 

• Verifying the compliance and airworthiness of engines and APUs following external repair or overhaul 
• Reviewing maintenance records shop visit reports and supporting technical documentation 
• Creating and managing engine and APU workscopes 
• Maintaining configuration control and data integrity within MXi and associated systems 
• Managing engineering authorisations maintenance memos and compliance documentation 
• Supporting engine and APU planning activities to ensure fleet operational requirements are met 
• Identifying technical discrepancies and working with stakeholders to resolve compliance issues 
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost turnaround times and process efficiency.  

What youll bring: 

• Trade qualification in an engineering-related discipline 
• Significant experience working with aircraft engines and/or APUs 
• Sound understanding of aircraft maintenance regulations airworthiness requirements and technical documentation 
• Experience using maintenance management systems ideally MXi 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability 
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy 
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex operational environment 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
