Senior Site Reliability Engineer, APAC

Join our global SRE and Platform team to lead the build out of our APAC businesses infrastructure. Tilts APAC businesses span India and the Philippines and are some of our fastest growing regions. Youll own the cloud infrastructure end to end for APAC drive regional programs already in flight and be the senior technical voice for infrastructure in the region.

This is a genuine greenfield mandate. It suits someone who gets energised by ownership makes decisions independently and wants to leave an architectural fingerprint on a scaled regulated fintech.

The manager is based in Australia along with 3 Platform Engineers to collaborate with. The rest of the SRE and Platform Engineers are based in the US.

This is a 100% remote role that requires international travel twice a year for on-sites.

• Define APACs cloud architecture end-to-end: compute networking storage identity containerisation hosting. New PH and India environments are live from day one.

• Own cross-region connectivity: VPN tunnels partner IP allow-listing edge/CDN domains certs DNS/TLS hygiene.

• Lead active migration and PCI-DSS hardening programs including sensitive data moves.

• Run incident response for APAC hours (follow-the-sun on-call): root cause analysis blameless post-mortems durable fixes.

• Continuously improve reliability deploy confidence alerting and Azure spend. Partner with security/compliance on PCI-DSS scope vulnerability scanning least-privilege access secret management.

• Set the technical bar for the region through code runbooks and collaboration with US-hours Platform engineers.

• Work AI-first: use coding observability and IaC assistants to move faster and cut toil.

• Deep demonstrated experience as an SRE with genuine ownership of critical systems.

• Deep experience managing public cloud infrastructure (were on Azure AWS/GCP experience works too).

• Terraform and IaC fluency. You build and maintain real modules and environments not just one-off scripts.

• Hands-on networking: site-to-site VPN VNet design/peering DNS TLS/certs firewall/IP allow-listing.

• Proven incident response leadership.

• Scripting fluency: PowerShell Bash Python Azure CLI.

• Experience managing the full DevOps pipeline.

• AI-first instincts. You reach for AI-driven tooling when diving into your work.
