Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Risk Management:

• Lead the design implementation and enhancement of Class risk management framework.
• Identify assess and monitor strategic operational and regulatory risks.
• Provide expert advice to executives on risk exposures emerging risks and mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain risk reporting dashboards and insights for senior leadership and board committees.

Compliance Management:

• Oversee the Class compliance framework ensuring alignment with relevant legislation regulations standards and internal policies.
• Manage regulatory obligations including monitoring breach assessments remediation activities and external reporting.
• Lead compliance reviews policy development and control improvements.
• Monitor regulatory change and ensure timely implementation across impacted business areas.

Governance and Assurance:

• Coordinate internal and external audits ensuring appropriate responses and closure of findings.
• Lead incident and issue management processes including rootcause analysis and action tracking.
• Strengthen governance processes risk appetite alignment and organisational accountability.

Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Influence and support senior leaders to embed risk management and compliance into business decisionmaking and reporting.
• Deliver training and communication to uplift awareness across the organisation.
• Represent the function in executive forums working groups within the Line 2 risk team and with regulatory engagement.

Requirements:

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Business Law or related field.
• 10 years plus of experience as a Risk or Compliance professional in the Financial Services industry.
• Knowledge and understanding of our industrys regulations (ATO SMSF and ASIC).
• Working knowledge of ISO 31000 Risk Management Framework.
• Experience in Digital Service Provider (DSP) Operational Security Framework desirable.
