As our highly valued Risk Advisor based in Brisbane your role will support the ongoing development administration and continuous improvement of the Banks Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) system helping to strengthen enterprise risk management and risk capability across the business.
This is a 12 month contract.
Youll make an impact by:
Supporting the ongoing administration maintenance and enhancement of the Banks Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) system
Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide advice training and support on GRC system processes and risk management activities
Maintaining high-quality risk data reporting and dashboards that support informed decision-making and assisting with the preparation of risk reporting
Coordinating user access system configuration master data management and organisational changes within the GRC platform
Supporting system upgrades testing release activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Investigating and resolving system issues by working closely with Technology teams and external vendors
Identifying opportunities to improve system capability data quality and user experience
Contributing to a strong risk culture by enabling effective risk governance reporting and business adoption of the Banks risk management framework

Working within Enterprise Risk youll combine risk knowledge technology and stakeholder engagement to improve the way our people manage risk every day. Youll work closely with business leaders technology teams and risk specialists to ensure our GRC platform supports better decision-making stronger governance and a positive risk culture.

To succeed in this role you will have:
At least 2 years experience in financial services with exposure to risk compliance or governance
Experience supporting business systems risk platforms or Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions
An understanding of risk management frameworks governance and reporting within a regulated environment
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data and producing meaningful reports
Experience managing system administration activities user support and continuous improvement initiatives
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a broad audience
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
