Senior Reporting and Insights Analyst

Location: Brisbane or Rockhampton

Remuneration/Benefit: Attractive salary package circa $140k Superannuation

About the role: As Senior Reporting and Insights Analyst you will transform complex operational and asset data into meaningful insights that support strategic and day-to-day decision making. Working closely with stakeholders across the business youll develop reporting solutions analyse trends identify opportunities for improvement and provide evidence-based recommendations that enhance asset performance and business outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards reports and visualisations to support business decision making.
• Analyse operational asset and financial data to identify trends risks and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting on key business and asset outcomes.
• Support data-driven decision making through analysis forecasting and performance reviews.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies and opportunities within business processes.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and integrity through effective data validation and quality assurance practices.

About You

• Experience in an Analyst Asset Analyst Reporting Analyst or similar role.
• Advanced Capability in Power BI and data visualisation skills.
• Experience with Python R or equivalent analytical programming languages.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience within heavy industry transport infrastructure resources or other asset-intensive environments is desirable.
