CPB Contractors is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major data centre project in Melbourne supporting hyperscale and enterprise clients driving the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth.

This is not a maintenance role. You will drive construction MEP integration and commissioning across a complex high value build leading large teams and setting the pace on programme performance and outcomes.

The Role
As Senior Project Manager you will lead the full lifecycle delivery of a hyperscale data centre ensuring safe efficient and high-quality outcomes.

Lead end to end project delivery across time cost quality and safety
Manage multidisciplinary teams across construction MEP and commissioning
Drive programme sequencing and interface management across multiple work packages
Oversee subcontractors and trade partners to ensure performance and alignment
Manage key stakeholder relationships across client design and commercial teams
Lead delivery through testing commissioning and practical completion
Ensure strong governance reporting and commercial performance
Build and lead high performing teams driving accountability and outcomes

About You
Degree qualified in engineering construction or related discipline
Proven experience delivering data centre or mission critical projects
Strong understanding of MEP intensive environments and building services integration
Experience managing complex multi package projects at scale
Commercially astute with strong cost risk and contract management capability
Confident leader with the ability to drive performance across large teams
