Senior Project Manager Development | Infrastructure

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager - Development to strengthen our Infrastructure team in Sydney. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Project development identifying scope of works / project requirements based on client needs including business case development and securing project funding
• Stakeholder coordination identification of stakeholders liaison with all parties to capture all relevant issues inputs and restrictions that may affect project outcomes.   
• Procurement Coordination - including contract drafting tender preparations and management bid analysis and contract awards for consultants and contractors
• Approvals & Planning Working with the wider project team to obtain the necessary approvals
• Contract Management - Ensuring compliance with contract terms in delivery of the works for consultants and contractors processing of payments managing change.  
• Construction management Control of the construction site management for the safe and compliant delivery of works in conjunction with consultants and safety advisors
• Risk and issues management Ensuring early identification of project risks and applying carefully considered mitigations to minimise occurrence of issues
• Quality management Through coordination of all parties to ensure adherence to expected quality for both the design and construction of the project
• Cost and time management Planning & forecasting project spend and delivery milestones

Qualifications :

• Minimum 10 years experience
• Experience working in building construction ideal
• Awareness of Australian building standards / codes
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects at various stages of delivery from design through to project close-out
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-functional projects both financially and leading a team of project managers
• Experience working in a dynamic fast-paced customer centric organisation
• Experience in the development and delivery of projects in existing operational environments
• Experience across a broad spectrum of disciplines (one or multiple):
  • Aviation
  • Water
  • Transport
  • Energy (Transmission and Renewable)
  • Civil infrastructure (earthworks and utilities)
