Job Summary
The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Manager you will make a tangible impact by leading complex projects to successful completion while driving strong commercial outcomes managing risk and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. Youll influence project direction through strategic planning and decision-making strengthen client relationships to deliver lasting value and uplift team capability by mentoring and developing high-performing individuals. By identifying smarter more efficient ways of working and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives youll help enhance how projects are delivered across the businessplaying a key role in driving innovation and elevating Builts performance in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex or multiple construction projects ensuring outcomes across safety quality cost and schedule are achieved
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to project teams driving high performance and capability development
- Manage project financial performance including budgeting forecasting and variations to maximise profitability
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients subcontractors and key stakeholders to support successful project outcomes
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with contractual safety and regulatory requirements
What we are looking for:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Engineering or similar with at least 10 years experience delivering complex construction projects
- Ideally have experience managing commercial high rise / High density residential projects - over $100 million
- Strong commercial acumen including experience in contract management budgeting forecasting and cost control
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to mentor teams drive performance and build high-performing collaborative environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence clients subcontractors and senior leaders
- Advanced problem-solving decision-making and risk management skills with the ability to navigate complex project challenges and changing conditions
