About the Team

Transformation Technology & Enablement is responsible for shaping Rests future through strategic technology innovation business transformation and execution of initiatives that deliver value today and tomorrow.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager youll lead a complex insurance initiative aligned to Rests strategic priorities. Working across Technology Digital Information Security Product Procurement Service Delivery and external partners youll drive delivery from initiation through to implementation ensuring outcomes are achieved on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic projects ensuring effective planning governance risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage project budgets forecasts and financial reporting ensuring delivery remains aligned to approved funding and business objectives.
• Track and realise business benefits supporting successful adoption and transition into business-as-usual operations.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders sponsors vendors and delivery partners to drive alignment and successful outcomes.
• Apply project governance frameworks providing clear reporting escalation management and delivery oversight.
• Manage external vendors and implementation partners ensuring contractual obligations quality standards and delivery commitments are achieved.
• Identify assess and manage project risks issues and dependencies proactively implementing mitigation strategies.
• Lead and mentor project team members fostering collaboration capability development and delivery excellence.

Qualifications :

• Tertiary qualification in Technology Project Management or a related discipline with relevant Project Management certification.
• Demonstrative experience delivering complex projects/programmes in hybrid Agile and Waterfall environments managing scope budgets schedules governance and RAID.
• Proven experience delivering complex third-party vendor and commercial engagements.
• Demonstrated experience leading customer-facing insurance transformation initiatives ideally within claims.
• Strong track record delivering projects to agreed scope budget schedule quality and benefits realisation outcomes.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams comprising internal SMEs contractors vendors and implementation partners.
• Strong financial and governance capability including business case development forecasting dependency management benefits tracking and executive reporting.
• Experience applying project delivery methodologies governance frameworks and controls within enterprise environments.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and issue management skills with the ability to manage complexity and delivery trade-offs.
• Strong communication facilitation negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across Technology Information Security business teams and external partners.
• Experience within superannuation insurance financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities work under pressure and deliver to deadlines in fast-paced environments.
