Following a numberof successful tender shortlists for major infrastructure projects across NSW we are seeking a talented Senior Project Engineer to join our high-performingteam At Bielby youwill have the unique opportunity to contribute to the tender and staging phasebefore mobilising to site to lead the delivery of major infrastructure will be a custodian of the projects technical and commercial successensuring that our engineering solutions are delivered with excellence on theground.
Whatyoull do
Work alongside the Pre-Contracts and Estimating teams to develop robust methodologies staging plans and first-principles estimates that reflect the logistical realities of regional work.
Seamlessly move from the bid phase to site mobilisation taking ownership of the work packages you helped plan and price.
Manage site-based activities including HSEQ compliance subcontractor coordination and the implementation of company procedures to meet project specifications.
Assist in tracking quantities productivity and cost control contributing to forensic reporting and the management of variations or claims.
Foster a safe inclusive and high-performance environment upholding the Bielby Code of Conduct and mentoring junior staff within the team.
Whatyoull bring
Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related with postgraduate qualifications in project management or business viewed favourably
Relevant industry experience across major infrastructure projects (preferably with major earthworks experience)
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make effective decisions that balance commercial reality with delivery milestones.
The ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders through transparency integrity and clear communication.
A desire to work across the full project lifecycle and a willingness to mobilise to projects following successful tender awards.
