Job Summary
Reporting to the Engineering Director and undertaking the role of the Lead Engineer on projects USD 5-35 million dollars in value the Senior Project Engineer brings engineering expertise and resource coordination leadership to the execution triangle of Project Manager Lead Engineer and Sourcing Project Leader to execute process equipment design and build projects.
This is achieved by delivering as required for each project detailed design documentation technical material requisitions and evaluations vendor data review and approval internal or external consultant management in accordance with the project schedule. A Can-Do attitude efficient decision making and close co-operation with all execution stakeholders including not only the execution triangle but also the other departments such as Proposals and Process teams is required to succeed in this role.  Â
Main Accountabilities
Execute coordinate & deliver technical work programs
Coordinate with Project Manager on forward resource needs
Review technical requirements of the project and prepare all design calculations data sheets and work instructions in line with contractual commitments. Close out on all customer technical feedback comments
Ensure all design work produced internally and externally is checked for compliance with customer requirements and safety standards resolve technical queries
Review and resolve equipment vendor technical clarifications
Work with other departments (sales proposals financial) and specialists to optimise specifications pricing purchase and delivery of equipment and services
Generate equipment purchase requisitions and evaluate vendor bids for technical compliance to project requirements
Review vendor documentation and equipment deliverables to ensure they meet specification
Coordinate packing and shipment of completed goods and associated delivery documentation
Liaise with and provide resolve technical queries during the design and fabrication process.Â
Ensure all inspection and testing requirements are clearly defined and documented.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status will be an advantage.
- At least 20Â Years of experience in the process equipment and/or and engineered systems industry.Â
- Previous project experience in gas processing produced water treatment.Â
