Senior Program Manager

As a Senior Program Manager reporting to VP Program Manager you will be accountable for shaping and executing the delivery of complex technology solutions to world-leading market infrastructure operators and new markets across the globe. This role demands strategic oversight executive-level client engagement and the ability to drive high-impact outcomes within Nasdaqs Client Success organization.

Youll thrive in this position if you bring executive presence a deep understanding of financial technology and the ability to mobilize cross-functional teams across borders towards a shared vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end program strategy for complex technology implementations ensuring alignment with Nasdaqs global objectives.

• Represent Nasdaq with senior external stakeholders clients and internal leadership through structured governance and steering committee engagement.

• Drive financial accountability through rigorous budget creation tracking and risk management including proactive mitigation planning.

• Champion quality assurance and progress reporting standards across all phases of the program lifecycle.

• Provide guidance mentorship and support to Project Managers operating under your program governance helping build capability and foster a high-performance delivery culture.

• Ensure adherence to global delivery standards while adapting to the complexities of international client environments.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technology project and program management within financial markets or a comparable global industry.

• Demonstrated success leading large-scale complex delivery programs across international cross-functional environments with full accountability from initiation to client acceptance.

• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage credibly with senior clients suppliers and internal leadership.

• Proven ability to mentor and uplift Project Managers across complex programs driving delivery excellence through collaboration and influence.

• Deep understanding of financial technology infrastructure and the full software development lifecycle.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder environments across geographies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies including Scrum Master practice.

• Background as a developer Business Analyst or Solution Architect.

The final job level for this position will be determined after evaluating each candidates experience and skills.

This position is located in Sydney Australia and offers a hybrid work environment with at least 2 days per week in-office subject to change providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

Candidates must hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency to be eligible for this role.
