Job Summary

As a Physiotherapist you will provide a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and care planning by assessing diagnosing and treating various movement disorders neurological musculoskeletal disorders and pain related conditions. You will prescribe evidence-based practices to assist with mobility and movement and collaborate with a team of various allied health professionals to deliver a multidisciplinary approach of care to customers. You will also contribute to workplace education and quality improvement activities/research.
Responsibilities include:
- Provides comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and care planning for residents living in homes and customers living in the community and delivers physiotherapy services.
- Conducts patient evaluations such as movement disorders neurological musculoskeletal disorders reviews patients medical histories performs diagnostic tests and develops a comprehensive understanding of patients physical capabilities and limitations.
- Contributes to the evaluation and analysis of guidelines policies and procedures applicable to clinical work to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates with a team of Physiotherapists Podiatrists Occupational Therapists and other allied health disciplines to deliver a truly multidisciplinary approach of care for customers.
To be successful in this role our preferred candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree required Physiotherapy Healthcare Nursing Pharmacy is preferred. Any other healthcare-related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
- Minimal experience as a Physiotherapist is preferred.
- Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration is prescribed.
- Proficient in Physiotherapy Assessment Physiotherapy Equipment Quality Improvement Legal and Regulatory Compliance and Patient Case Management skills.
- Excellent customer experience planning and prioritisation communication and adaptive thinking skills.
