Job Summary

Were looking for a Senior Advisor People Systems to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a great opportunity to play a key role in supporting and improving our core HR and payroll systems portfolio helping ensure our People Systems are reliable compliant and deliver a seamless experience for our people.

Working across our SAP SuccessFactors environment youll partner with Payroll HR IT and business stakeholders to enhance processes solve complex problems deliver valuable insights and support important system initiatives. No two days are the same and youll have the opportunity to influence how our systems evolve to meet the needs of the business.

About the role:

As a trusted subject matter expert you will:

  • Provide specialist advice on core HR and payroll related system processes configuration and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Payroll and business stakeholders to identify analyse and deliver system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Translate business and legislative requirements into practical and effective system solutions.
  • Lead testing activities including system testing regression testing and UAT ensuring changes are delivered with confidence.
  • Support system releases upgrades integrations and continuous improvement initiatives across the People Systems landscape.
  • Analyse validate and reconcile workforce and payroll data to support operational compliance and business reporting requirements.
  • Champion data quality and support the ongoing integrity and governance of people and payroll data.

About you:

You are a systems-focused professional who enjoys understanding how things work solving problems and finding better ways of doing things. Youre equally comfortable talking payroll legislation working through system requirements or diving into data to uncover insights. You can see both the detail and the bigger picture balancing compliance and risk requirements with practical business outcomes.

Youll bring:

  • Experience working in People Systems HRIS or Payroll roles with exposure to enterprise HR and payroll systems (SAP or SuccessFactors experience would be ideal but not essential).
  • Exposure to HR or payroll implementations upgrades integrations or remediation projects would also be advantage.
  • A solid understanding of payroll processes legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience translating payroll business and legislative requirements into effective system outcomes.
  • Experience leading or coordinating testing activities including UAT.
  • Sharp analytical capability with experience validating complex data and delivering operational and compliance reporting.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence challenge and advise when needed.
