About this role:

The primary purpose of the Senior Officer Orientation is to support coordination development delivery ongoing review and evaluation of programs of work relating to the Universitys orientation and student experience objectives.

As a Senior Officer Student Orientation and Engagement you will:

  • Coordinate and deliver engaging student orientation programs working collaboratively with stakeholders and student partners to ensure a seamless and inclusive experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by gathering stakeholder feedback implementing changes and enhancing the effectiveness of orientation and student engagement activities.
  • Provide professional and timely support through effective management of shared email accounts applying best-practice customer service principles in all communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students colleagues and external stakeholders using effective communication and influencing skills to foster collaboration and engagement.
  • Plan prioritise and evaluate operational activities to achieve strategic objectives proactively identifying barriers and implementing practical solutions to deliver high-quality outcomes

To be successful youll have:

  • A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Relevant experience in program project and event experience including coordination scheduling implementation delivery evaluation and on the ground support in a large complex organisation governed by policies and procedures
  • High level administrative experience preferably in the education sector
