We act for the roleThis position is responsible forleadingdeveloping andsupporting teams to delivertargeteddisaster resilience and recovery programs that support individuals households and communities to better anticipate respond to and recovery well from disasters and other this role you will be responsible for leading the delivery of our Pillowcase and Emergency Redi Programs as well as other disaster resilience and recovery training packages and role also involves working at a state sector level to increase knowledge and understanding of disaster impacts the importance of preparedness and resilience measures and the psychosocial needs of disaster-affected people and you will bringProven ability to lead support and mentor teams with a strong focus on strengthening positive team sound technical knowledge expertise and understanding of disaster resiliencecommunity development principles and facilitation and advocacy and communication skills with the ability to influence analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess evaluate and solve problems and exercise initiative and judgment where practices and procedures are not clearly defined with the ability to use data to inform in building and maintaining collaborative relationships across discipline knowledge gained through experience in disaster resilience emergency management or community that act for you while you act for humanityFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your salary you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
