SAL Consulting is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our senior practitioner team in Western Australia based in Perth.

This is more than a clinical role. Alongside a diverse and rewarding caseload youll contribute to the growth of our Occupational Therapy discipline mentor emerging clinicians and help strengthen our national practice.

What Youll Be Doing

Youll combine direct clinical work with assessment intervention consultation multidisciplinary collaboration mentoring and discipline development activities.

Your work will include:

• Delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy services across community clinic school and telehealth settings
• Providing assessment intervention and consultation services to people with diverse and often complex needs
• Supporting individuals families carers and support teams to achieve meaningful outcomes
• Mentoring and coaching developing practitioners
• Contributing to discipline growth clinical innovation and service development
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic and person-centred outcomes

Essential Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working within at least one relevant funding environment (e.g. NDIS education child protection health justice or related sectors)
• Experience coaching mentoring or supporting developing practitioners

Highly Regarded

• Formal supervision experience
• Experience in working with people with intellectual disability trauma histories and complex support needs
• Experience in areas such as functional capacity assessments sensory profiling cognitive assessments home and living assessments equipment prescription and home modifications
• Experience working collaboratively with families support networks and multidisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes in everyday environments
• Experience in practice development activities
